Outlook Address Book - Wrong Email Address Appears When Selecting Recipient
Issue
When typing or selecting a recipient in Outlook, the system may display an incorrect email address from the Auto-Complete list.
This may happen when Outlook suggests previously used email addresses that do not match the intended recipient.
Example
When typing a recipient’s name, Outlook may display a different email address in the suggestion list.
Solution
This happens because Outlook stores previously used email addresses in the Auto-Complete list.
To resolve the issue, please clear the Auto-Complete list by following the steps below:
1. Open Outlook
2. Click File
3. Select Options
4. Go to Mail
5. Scroll to the Send messages section
6. Click Empty Auto-Complete List
