PC Login - Password Expired / Unable to Login

Cause:
The user’s password has reached its expiry period based on system policy.

Solution (User Self-Service):

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
  2. Select Change a password

3. Enter:

  • Current (old) password
  • New password
  • Confirm new password

 

4. Log in using the new password.

Alternative Solution (IT Support):
If user is unable to change password:

 

  1. IT will reset the password to a temporary password.
  2. Upon login, user will be prompted to create a new password.
