SmarterMail - Web Login & Password Change Guide

Description
Users can access their company email via web browser (SmarterMail) and update or reset your email password.

Password Policy Update

To enhance email security and minimize the risk of unauthorized access, all users are required to change their email password every 3 months.

Quick Guide 

A) If You Remember Your Password

1. Go to: https://mail.labuanshipyard.com/ 
2. Login using your email & current password
   
   
   
3. If prompted, proceed to reset your password. Enter details as per below :
   
   
   
   
4. Click OK.
5. Go to Outlook > enter new password when prompted. 
   

B) If You Forgot Your Password

1. Contact IT Support / raise a ticket
2. IT will provide a temporary password
3. Login to SmarterMail using your email & temporary password
4. Follow Step A (from Step no. 3 onwards) to reset your password.

How to Access Email via SmarterMail/Website :

1. Open your browser (Chrome / Edge)
2. Go to: https://mail.labuanshipyard.com/ 
3. Enter your email address and password
   
4. Click Login

Change Password via Settings (Optional)

1.  Go to : https://mail.labuanshipyard.com/ 
2. Log in to SmarterMail
3. Go to More > Settings
   
   
   
4. Select Account > Change Password 
   

5. Enter (refer password requirement) :

   • Old Password (current password)
   • New Password
   • Confirm Password
     
6. Click Save.

Please Note:

1. Outlook can be used to send, receive, and manage emails as usual
2. All account-related changes (e.g. password reset) must be performed via SmarterMail (webmail)
3. Outlook is used for email access only, while SmarterMail is used for account management.
4. Password changes cannot be performed in Outlook.
